More than likely, I did buy used. It just struck me as something weird as the guy that sold it to me, had the OG box which said it was an ROTS. I'm going to change my SIG/TAG saber to an ATOC vice the ROTS.

Hey everyone, I'm hoping this hasn't already been asked but I just got my very first saber today. It's an Obi Wan ROTS. I saw in the FAQ's that people have asked about a dark spot in the middle of their anakins and being able to see the spaces inbetween the leds. Is that only in the anakins? Don't get me wrong the saber is beautiful but if i look closely i can definately see horizontal lines all throughout the blade. There's even a couple specks on the blade that looked like it could just be dust on the outside or something but it didn't wipe off. Can someone tell me if i'm just being too picky or if i should take this one back?

My Obi Wan has that too, the blade looks pretty much the same as the Anakin one. I would not worry about it unless the dark spots are very pronounced - the difference between the normal dark spot and a blown LED is usually fairly easy to tell. The normal dark spot is also nearly exactly half way up the blade.

When the LED is out on the saber it will definatley be noticable. If it's just a little dark spot on the blade then you should have nothing to worry about.

Hey, I have a question to ask, I'm not sure if it goes here but ah well,
Anyways.. I am looking to buy a Maul Double (or 2 single) FX blades, but i want a PURE RED saber, often in vids i either see a deep orange or a very light red (pink), now if i was to choose id probarbly choose the pinkish one because it looks more maul-ish, well anyway back to the question, Are the maul blades really like this (orange/pink)? or is it just the camera and you get a pure red blade.\
P.S. I also heard some maul sabers have REALLY low battery times (30 mins before needing new bats), if you can answer this, PLEASE DO! ;D

In person, the blades are quite red indeed. Luxeons get the orange hue in photos even worse than stock MR's. The Mauls do have a tendency to eat batteries, but a good set of rechargables will solve those woes.

My Anakin AOTC FX does not turn on. I'm using E2 Lithium batteries in it and I'm pretty sure it's v2 because of the rubber seal.

I jut bought a Maul Saber and Two sets of LEDs don't work, I've had it for two weeks and it worked fine before. I looked into it and 2 wires are severed, and the sound wire is worn. I'm wondering if I should try to take out the end connected to the blade and plug the other end into the hole, but I don't know if it's possible, much less how. Any ideas?
