Yeah perhaps he does have that accent. But still even tho they replace his voice with another man's voice, Ray Park still did an outstanding job as Darth Maul. I give him props for his fancy swordsman work and skills with martial arts. Plus, I can't deny is darn right HOT! Hey, I think he looks good hehe

Yeah,I agree with you.I think it's called a good story. the original trilogy was good *bad grphics though* But, I still like the story of 1, 2, & 3. 3 was the most emotional hands down, and it had one of the best storys. Although it could have gone differently. But yes, 1, 2 , and 3 did lack somthing. *not sure what*

I like the EU stories of him alot better than the movie stuff but it was sweet to watch him fight. Somebody in here said "That is what a Jedi vs Sith saber fight should be" I completely agree. He is my favorite character and he has the best saber.

darth maul is the best sith and will always be the best sith because whoever can get a double-blade must be ultra powerful and i think george lucas should of looked into that and i dont think obi wan was powerful enough to kill him because in the picture i just put up of him he could of came back

Hey if Anakin can burn to a crisp and lose all his limbs, I think there is a possiblity that Maul could come back. LOL
And while I think he is one of the coolest siths we have seen in the movies, it is probably good to mention that maul was a pawn in sidious game. Maul was also young and powerful...As we have seen with Anakin young and power don't tend to mix to well.
I do think that the fight sceen should have been a little longer so we could see more of the cool battle nd his ability to fight.
i would have also loved toknow a little more about maul in th movie. He was such a facinating character and he wa never metioned again after his death.

I felt that the first episode lacked something that episodes 4 5 and 6 had. The Prequels all do lack certain elements from the Original Trilogy. But in the same token, the OT lacks a few things that the Prequals have as well. For example, more saber fights, more jedi, better visual effects, and so on. I believe both trilogies are unique and great in their own ways. And concerning Maul being a great character, I think most could agree that he was. And yes, I would've like to see him a bit more. He had way too much potential for the little exposure he received, in my mind. Something I love about the fight between Maul, Obi wan, and Qui Gon is when the three of them get stuck in the red ray shields. While Qui Gon takes a knee calmly and begins to meditate, Maul is pacing back and forth, eyeing over his prey - like a prowling lion just waiting to pounce. This depicts a great difference between the collected Jedi and the enraged passionate sith I think. Maul was a great representative of the darkside.

Of course. Maul was the first sith to appear on the big screen with a double ended saber.
I was amazed when I first saw him. But after watching him, my interest dwindled when he seemed to get killed off so easily.
