Cool  a $200 box of spare parts! (that's about all it's worth) I am truly disappointed that this abomination was even conceptualized.  This is what took away development time for a Dooku, Obi-Wan TPM, and a Qui-Gon Jinn FX.  [sarcasm] AWESOME JOB MR! [/sarcasm] |

Are they still using 64 leds or is this saber a Luxeon?
The pics and video look like Lux the gradually tuens on and off like a Plector.

They are in the hilt itself by the look of the blade flare and the major fading in the middle of the blade. While I give them props for attempting a bottom lit LED style blade. This thing just doesn't seem like it's going to be as nice as a Luxeon III conversion from Ultrasabers or TCSS. It's still my opinion that they should not have wasted time with this, and worked on a Dooku, a Qui-gon, and got the Obi TPM done. I'll go back a bit on my rant earlier and give them a D- for efftort. Very begrudginly mind you.  |

As others have pointed out, I'd rather just do a true custom saber instead, although the hilt parts do look pretty nice (although generic).
